Rights of Muslims  Hadith  128  عَنْ أَبِىْ سَعِيْدٍ الْخُدْرِىِّ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُوْلُ خَمْسٌ مَنْ عَمِلَهُنَّ فِىْ يَوْمٍ كَتَبَهُ اللهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيْضًا ، وَشَهِدَ جَنَازَةً ، وَصَامَ يَوْمًا ، وَرَاحَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَأَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً . Abu Sa'id Al Khudri Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that he heard Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam saying: The one who has done five deeds in a day, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, writes him amongst the dwellers of Paradise. One who visits a sick person, attends a funeral, fasts for a day, goes to offer Friday Salah and sets a slave free. (Ibn Hibban)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  129  عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ : مَنْ جَاهَدَ فِىْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ ، وَمَنْ عَادَ مَرِيْضًا كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ ، وَمَنْ غَدَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ أَوْ رَاحَ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ ، وَمَنْ دَخَلَ عَلىٰ إِمَامٍ يُعَزِّزُهُ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ ، وَمَنْ جَلَسَ فِىْ بَيْتِهِ لَمْ يَغْتَبْ إِنْسَانًا كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللهِ . Mu'adh ibn Jabal Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: He who strives in the cause of Allah is under the security of Allah; he who visits a patient is under the security of Allah; he who goes to the masjid in the morning or evening is under the security of Allah; he who visits a ruler to help him is under the security of Allah; he who stays in his house and does not backbite anyone is under the security of Allah. Rights of Muslims  Hadith  130  عَنْ أَبِىْ هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ : مَنْ أَصْبَحَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ صَائِمًا ؟ قَالَ أَبُوْ بَكْرٍ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ : أَنَا ، قَالَ : فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ مِنْكُمُ الْيُوْمَ جَنَازَةً ؟ قَالَ أَبُوْبَكْرٍ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ : أَنَا ، قَالَ : فَمَنْ أَطْعَمَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مِسْكِيْنًا ؟ قَالَ أَبُوْبَكْرٍ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ : أَنَا ، قَالَ : فَمَنْ عَادَ مِنْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مَرِيْضًا ؟ قَالَ أَبُوْبَكْرٍ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ : أَنَا ، فَقَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ : مَا اخْتَمَعْنَ فِىْ أِمْرِىءٍ إِلاَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ . Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam once asked us: Who is fasting today? Abu Bakr Radiyallahu 'anhu said: I am. Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam asked: Who followed a bier today? Abu Bakr Radiyallahu 'anhu said: I did. He asked: Who fed a poor person today? Abu Bakr Radiyallahu 'anhu replied: I did. He asked: Who visited a sick person today? Abu Bakr Radiyallahu 'anhu replied: I did. Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam then said: No one in whom these good deeds are combined except that he will enter Paradise. (Muslim)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  131  عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنِ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَعُوْدُ مَرِيْضًا لَمْ يَحْضُرْ أَجَلُهُ فَيَقُوْلُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ : أَسْأَلُ اللهَ الْعَظِيءمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ أَنْ يَّشْفِيْكَ إِلاَّ عُوْفِىَ . ( رواه التر مذى ، وقال : هذا حديث حسن غريب ، باب مايقول عند عيادة المريض ، رقم : )
 
Abdullah ibn 'Abbas Radiyallahu 'anhuma narrates that Nabi Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: Any Muslim slave of Allah visits a sick person, whose time of death has not come, and supplicates as under seven times, the sick person shall get cured. ' I ask Allah the Almighty, Rabb of the Mighty Throne, to cure you.' (TirmidhI)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  132  عَنْ أَبِىْ هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ شَهشدَ الْجَنَازَةَ حَتّى يُصَلىٰ عَلَيْهَا فَلَهُ قِيْرَاطٌ ، وَمَنْ شَهِدَهَا حَتّى تُدْفَنَ فَلَهُ قِيْرَاطَانَ ، قِيْلَ : وَمَا الْقِيْرَاطَانِ ؟ قَالَ : مِشْلُ الْجَبَالَيْنِ الْعَظِيْمَيْنِ . ( رواه مسلم ، باب فضل الصلوة ، على الجنازةواتباعها ، رقم : وفى رواية له : اصغر هما مشل احد . رقم : )
 
Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: He who follows the bier and offers the funeral Salat, will get a reward of a Qirat, and he who attends the funeral until its burial will get a reward of two Qirat. It was asked: What are two Qirat 1 ? He replied: Equivalent to two huge mountains. It is narrated at another place: Of the two mountains, the smaller one is like Mount Uhud. (Muslim)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  133  عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهَا عَنِ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ قَالَ : مَا مِنْ مَيِّتٍ يُصَلِّىْ عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةٌ مِّنَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ يَبْلُغُوْنَ مِائَةً ، كُلُّهُمْ يَشْفَعُوْنَ لَهُ إِلاَّ شُفِّعُوْا فِيْهِ . ( رواه مسلم ، باب من صلى عليه مائة .......... ، رقم : )
 
A'ishah Radiyallahu 'anha narrates that Nabi Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: If the company of Muslims reaches hundred in number and they pray over a dead person, all of them interceding for him, their intercession for him will be accepted. (Muslim)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  134  عَنْ عَبْدِاللهِ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ قَالَ : مَنْ عَزَّى مُصَابًا فَلَهُ مِشْلُ أَجْرِهِ . ( رواه ابترمذى وقال : هذاحديث غريب ، باب ماجاءفى اجرمن عزى مصابا ، رقم : )
 
Abdullah Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Nabi Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: Anyone who consoles an afflicted person, will have a reward equivalent to his. (Tirmidhi)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  135  عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : مَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ يُعَزِّىْ أَخَاهُ بِمُصِيْبَةٍ إِلاَّ كَسَاهُ اللهُ سُبْحَانَهُ مِنْ حُلَلٍ الْكَرَامَةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ . ( لرواه ابن ماجه ، باب ماجاءفى ثواب من عزى مصابا ، رقم : )
 
Muhammad ibn 'Amr ibn Hazm Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Nabi Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: No believer comforts his brother in distress, except that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala clothes him with a dress of nobility on the Day of Reckoning. (ibn Majah)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  136  عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِىَ اللهُ عنْهَا قَلَتْ : دَخَلَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلىٰ أَبِىْ سَلَمَةَ وَقَدْ شَقَّ بَصَرُهُ ، فَأَغْمَضَهُ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : إِنَّ الرُّوْحَ إِذَا قُبِضَ تَبِعَهُ الْبَصَرُ فَضَجَّ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ فَقَالَ : لاَ تَدْعُوْا عَلىٰ أَنْفَسُكُمْ إِلاَّ بِخَيْرٍ ، فَإِنَّ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ يُوْمِّنُوْنَ عَلىٰ مَا تَقُوْلُوْنَ ثُمَّ قَالَ : اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لأَبِىْ سَلَمَةَ وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ فِى الْمَهْدِيِّيْنَ وَاخْلُفْهُ فِىْ عَقِبِهِ فِى الْغَابِرِيْنَ ، وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلَهُ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ وَافْسَحْ لَهُ فِىْ قَبْرِهِ ، وَنِّرْ لَهُ فِيْهِ . ( رواه مسلم ، باب فى اغماض الميت والدعاء له اذا حضر ، رقم : )
 
Umme Salamah Radiyallahu 'anha narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam came after Abu Salamah's death, whose eyes were open. Closing his eyes, he said: Verily, when the soul is taken up, the eyes follow it (and therefore remain open). Some of his family members wept and wailed (they may have said some unwanted words). He said: Do not supplicate for yourself anything but good; undoubtedly the angels say AmTn to what you say. Then he supplicated:@ +@'O Allah! Forgive Abu Salamah, raise his rank amongst those who are rightly guided, and You be the Caretaker of his descendants after him. Forgive him and us; O Rabb of the universe, make his grave spacious for him and grant him light in it.' (Muslim)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  137  عَنْ أَبِى الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِىُّ ﷺ يَقُوْلُ : دَعْوَةُ الْمَرْءِ الْمُسْلِمِ لأّخِيْهِ – بِظَهْرِ الْغَيْبِ – مُسْتَجَابَةٌ ، عِنْدَ رَأْسِهِ مَلَكٌ مُوَكَّلٌ ، كُلَّمَا دَعَالأّخِيْهِ بِخَيْرٍ قَالَ الْمَلَكُ الْمُوَكَّلُ بِهِ : آمِيْنَ ، وَلَكَ بِمِشْلٍ . ( رواه مسلم ، باب فضل الدعاء للمسلمين ، بظهر الغيب ، رقم : )
 
Abu Darda' Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Nabi Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: A Muslim's supplication in the absence of his brother is accepted. An angel is stationed at his head; whenever he makes a supplication for the good of his brother, this angel says: Amin and may you receive the same. (Muslim)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  138  عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنِ النَّبِنِّ ﷺ قَالَ : لاَ يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُ كُمْ حَتّى يُحِبَّ لأّخِيْهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ . ( رواه البخارى ، باب من الا يمان ان يحب لا خيه ... رقم : )
 
Anas Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Nabi Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: None of you is a true believer, until he likes for his brother what he likes for himself. (Bukhari)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  139  عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِاللهِ الْقَسَرِىِّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِىْ أَبِىْ عَنْ جَدِّىْ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ : أَتُحِبُّ الْجَنَّةَ ؟ قَالَ : قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ ! قَالَ فَأَحِبَّ لأَخِيْكَ مَا تُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِكَ . ( رواه احمد : )
 
Khalid ibn 'Abdullah Qasari Rahimahullah narrates from his father and his grandfather Radiyallahu 'anhu that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam asked them: Do you love Paradise? I replied: Yes. Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: Like for your brother what you like for yourself. (Musnad Ahmad)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  140  عَنْ أَبِىْ هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ : إِنَّ الدِّيْنَ النَّصِيْحَةُ ، إِنَّ الدِّيْنَ النَّصِيْحَةُ ، إِنَّ الدِّيْنَ النَّصِيْحَةُ قَالُوا : لِمَنْ يَا رَسُوْلَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ : لِلهِ ، وَلِكِتَابِهِ ، وَلِرَسُوْلِهِ ، وِلأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَعَامَّتِهِمْ ز ( رواه النسائى ، باب النصيحة للامام ، رقم : )
 
Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: Verily, Deen (religion) is Nasihah (sincere wellwishing) verily Deen is Nasihah, verily Deen is Nasihah. The Sahabah asked: To whom O Rasulallah? He replied: To Allah, and His Book, and His Messenger, and to the rulers of the Muslims and their common folk. (Nasai)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  141  عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ رَضِىَ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ حَوْضِىْ مَابَيْنَ عَدَنَ إِلىٰ عَمَّانَ أَكْوَابُهُ عَمَدُ النُّجُوْمِ ، مَاؤُهُ أَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنَ الثَّلْجِ وَأَحْلىٰ مِنَ الْعَسَلِ أَوَّلُ مَنْ يَرِدُهُ فُقَرَاءُ الْمُهَاجِرِيْنَ ، قُلْنَا : يَا رَسُوْلَ اللهِ ! صِفْهُمْ لَنَا ، قَالَ : شُعْثُ الرُّؤُسِ ، دُنْسُ الثِّيَابِ الَّذِيْنَ لاَ يَنْكِحُوْنَ الْمُتَنَعِّمَاتِ ، وَلاَ تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمُ السُّدَدُ الَّذِيْنَ يُعْطُوْنَ مَا عَلَيْهِمْ ، وَلاَ يُعْطَوْنَ مَالَهُمْ . Thawban Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: My pond extends from Aden to Amman. Its bowls are equivalent to the stars in the sky. Its water is whiter than snow and sweeter than honey. The first to come on the pond will be the poor emigrants. We asked: O Rasulallah! Describe them to us? Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam replied: Those with dishevelled hair, and dirty clothes, who cannot marry women living in luxury. For whom doors are not opened. They fulfil the rights of others, while their own rights are not given to them. (Tabaram, Majma'uz-Zawaid)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  142  عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ : لاَ تَكُوْنُوْا إِمَّعَةً تَقُوْلُوْنَ : إِنْ أَجْسَنَ النَّاسُ أَحْسَنَّا ، وَإِنْ ظَلَمُوْا ظَلَمْنَا ، وَلٰكِنْ وَطِّنُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ إِنْ أَحْسَنَ النَّاسُ أَنْ تُحْسِنُوْا ، وَإِنْ وْا فَلاَ تَظْلِمُوْا . ( رواه التر مذى وقال : هذا حديث حسن غريب ، باب ماجاءفى الا حسان والعفو ، رقم : )
 
Hudhaifah Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: Do not immitate others and start saying if others treat us well, we will treat them well, and if they do wrong to us, we will do wrong to them; but accustom yourself to do good if people do good, and not to do wrong if they do wrong. (Tirmidhi)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  143  عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّهَا قَلَتْ : مَا انْتَقَمَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ لِنَفْسِهِ فِىْ شَىْءٍ قَطُّ إِلاَّ أَنْ تُنْتَهَكَ حُرْمَتُ اللهِ فَيَنْتَقِمُ بِهَا لِلهِ . ( وهو بعض الحديث ) رواه البخارى ، باب قول النبى ﷺ يسرواولا تعسروا ....... ، رقم : )
 
A'ishah Radiyallahu 'anha narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam never revenged in his personal affairs, however, when Allah's lawful bindings were violated, he would punish for the sake of Allah. (Bukhari)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  144  عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ : إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ إِذَا نَصَحَ لِسَيِّدِهِ ، وَأَحْسَنَ عِبَادَةَ اللهِ ، فَلَهُ أَجْرُهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ . ( رواه مسلم ، باب ثواب العبد ....... ، رقم : )
 
Abdullah ibn 'Umar Padiyallahu 'anhuma narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: Indeed when a slave is faithful to his master and worships Allah well, then he gets a double reward. (Muslim)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  145  عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ عَلىٰ رَجُلٍ حَقٌّ فَمَنْ أَخَّرَهُ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ يَوْمٍ صَدَقَةٌ . ( رواه احمد : )
 
Tmran ibn Husain Radiyallahu 'anhuma narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: When anyone has something due to him from another, he will be credited with (reward of) Sadaqah for every day allowed to postpone payment. (Musnad Ahmad)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  146  عَنْ أَبِىْ مُوْسَى الأَشْعَرِىِّ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ : إِنَّ مِنْ إِجْلاَلِ اللهِ إِكْرَامَ ذِى الشَّيْبَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ ، وَحَامِلِ الْقُرْآنِ غَيْرِ الْغَالِىْ فِيْهِ وَالْجَافِىْ عَنْهُ ، وَإكْرَامَ ذِى السُّلْطَانِ الْمُقْسِطِ . ( رواه ابوداؤد ، باب فى تنزيل الناس منازلهم ، رقم : )
 
Abu Musa Al Ash'ari Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: Undoubtedly reverence to Allah includes honouring a grey haired Muslim; and also the one who has memorised the Qur'an and he neither exceeds the proper bounds and nor does he turn away from it; and honouring a just ruler. (Abu Dawud)

Rights of Muslims  Hadith  147  عَنْ أَبِىْ بَكْرَةَ رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُوْلُ : مَنْ أَكْرَمَ سُلْطَانَ اللهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالىٰ فِى الدُّنْيَا أَكْرَمَهُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، وَمَنْ أَهَانَ سُلْطَانَ اللهِ عَزَّوَجَلَّ فِىْ الدُّنْيَا أَهَانَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ . Abu Bakr Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates: I heard Rasullullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam saying: He who honours a king appointed by Allah Tabaraka wa Ta'ala in the world, Allah will honour him on the Day of Resurrection. He who dishonours a king appointed by Allah 'Azza wa Jalil in the world, Allah will dishonour him on the Day of Resurrection. (Musnad Ahmad, Tabarani, Majma'uz-Zawaid)
